Research Assistant · NYUST

Funded by the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), Taiwan

Conducted literature reviews on Multimodal Generative AI and Child–Computer Interaction (CCI) to establish the research framework.
Collected and analyzed multimodal data — doodles, singing, and storytelling — from children aged 7–12 to support the development of AI models.
Assisted in drafting research reports and preparing manuscripts focused on AI interface design for young users.

2025.12

National Yunlin University of Science and Technology — Office of Research and Development

Awarded to 間隙知覺 AI Studio, a three-person team with 孫恩臨 and 陳翊瑄, advised by Wingly Shih (施文禮).
The winning project brings generative AI into elementary-school character design, letting pupils turn hand-drawn concepts into refined images and carry them through to 3D models and physical figures.
Lowering the drawing and software barrier let pupils finish complete works within limited class time, raising engagement and widening participation across different skill backgrounds.
Selected from fifteen finalist teams drawn from universities across Taiwan, judged on innovation, feasibility, social impact, completeness, and presentation.

2024.11 – 2025.01

Commissioned by the Tainan City Government Bureau of Tourism

Tainan's 2024 city Christmas tree, shown at the Guang-Ba site of Spring Plaza (河樂廣場) and at Xinying Cultural Center Plaza.
One of eight named members of the execution team, alongside Yaling Huang (黃雅玲) and Wingly Shih (施文禮).
The form emphasises resilience and strength, combining courage flowers, stars, and cross motifs to read as a symbol of facing an uncertain future with confidence.
Produced by the NYUST Department of Visual Communication Design with the Department of Cultural and Creative Industries at NKUST's College of Innovative Design, and Xuanyao Optoelectronics.

Association for Computer-Aided Architectural Design Research in Asia

Workshop C02 — Resonant Divine Realm: Emotion-Driven Taiwanese Wangye Temple Design.
Invited instructor guiding international participants in integrating biometric emotion-sensing with parametric temple architecture.
Facilitated hands-on modules where roof curvatures and color intensities were modulated by real-time human emotional data.
Provided individual design critiques and technical support to architects and researchers across the Asia-Pacific region.

Visual Communication Design, Taiwan Institute of Kansei, and Taiwan Society of Basic Design and Art Conference

Directed overall planning and execution, hosting 100+ attendees from academia and industry.
Coordinated programming, finance, and logistics committees for a seamless two-day event.
Managed the call for papers and oversaw peer review of 65 submitted manuscripts.
Secured sponsorships and managed the budget — meeting all financial and operational goals.
Liaised with keynote speakers and distinguished guests on travel, scheduling, and hospitality.

Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Indonesia

Lecture topic: “Design Translation of Taiwanese Wangye Belief: From Folk Religion to Modern Visual Language.”
Delivered a series of international lectures to 200+ students on transforming traditional religious iconography into contemporary design assets.
Facilitated a cross-cultural workshop, “Creative Wangye Cultural Fusion,” guiding Indonesian students in integrating Taiwanese folk elements with local creative practices.
Demonstrated advanced design-translation strategies bridging historical research and visual innovation.
